This project involved developing a comprehensive full-stack website for Dili Medical Center, a healthcare provider in Timor-Leste. Requirements Gathering: Collaborated closely with the clinic's management to define functional and non-functional requirements, focusing on patient experience and administrative needs.

System Architecture & Database Design: Designed the back-end architecture, including a robust database schema to manage doctor profiles, patient information, and appointment schedules securely.

API Development: Built secure and efficient APIs to handle appointment bookings, doctor availability, and patient data retrieval with proper authentication and validation.

Front-End Development: Developed a responsive and intuitive front-end interface, ensuring ease of use for patients seeking information and booking appointments.

Results & Impact

Successfully launched a critical digital platform for Dili Medical Center, significantly improving patient accessibility to healthcare services and streamlining the appointment booking process. The website serves as a foundational digital tool for the clinic's operations.

The system reduced administrative overhead by automating appointment scheduling and provided patients with 24/7 access to book appointments. This was particularly valuable in a region where digital healthcare solutions were limited.

The project demonstrated my ability to work on real-world healthcare applications, handling sensitive data while creating user-friendly interfaces that serve diverse populations.

My Role

I served as the sole Full-Stack Developer for this project, responsible for the entire development lifecycle, including back-end architecture, API development, database management, and front-end implementation. This comprehensive involvement allowed me to ensure seamless integration between all system components while maintaining high security and usability standards.
